What is Ahinama?
Ahinama.lu, is an associaction (a.s.b.l.), dedicated to Cuban music and dance, especially to Cuban Style Salsa (Casino) and Rueda de Casino. We grouped together in 2004, and the association was officially founded in April 2006. Up to now our activities are the following:
- Propose weekly
classes in Cuban Style Salsa (Casino) and Rueda de Casino. - Organise
workshops with renowned specialists in different dance styles. These last 2 years we have invited Aniurka and Antoine, Alberto Gonzalez, Joycee and Noydee, Choco and Vaini, for almost 100 hours of workshops. - Organise
concerts and parties . Ahinama organises a concert every last Friday of the month, and from time to time invites artists de "Primera Plana" as la Reve July 11th 2009 - Organise trips to
dance and music events in the neighbouring cities.
The salsa classes take place wednesdays and thursdays in Luxembourg.
We charge a fee of 30 Euros per cycle for our weekly salsa classes. If you want to participate to the classes, go to the subscription page for instructions.
The classes are organized in cycles of 20.
